No Excused Needed - Lililane No Excuse Needed - Lililane 08 Gelding Here we have a strong No Excuse Needed gelding based on the good cross out of an O'Reilly mare (ie Daffodil, Masquerade etc). This gelding arrived up North from the South Island in mid August and has just kept on improving since arriving. He is strong and muscular with a good stride on him. He gives the impression that he will get up and run as a late 2yo. He is by the Champion 2 yo sire of 2007-8. No Excused Needed who has left 179 runners for 91 winners including Stakes winners Daffodil, Take the Rap - St Rap (HK) , Vincent Mangano to name a few. Only Volksraad and Zabeel sired more stakes winners than No Excuse Needed in New Zealand in the 09/10 season. Second to Montjeu as a sire of four year olds.Nine stakes winners overall, a creditable 8% stakes winners to starters in Australia and New Zealand.
